Our Activities

Community Mealtimes

Once per month, we invite our community members to come together to cook and eat a meal in a local venue. This gives everyone a chance to catch up, connect and share skills and ideas. We provide some light activities to do outside of the kitchen but our main focus is on socialising and having fun. If you're interested in coming along, please do get in touch.

Soteria in the Pub

Our 'Soteria in the Pub' events have been running for a number of years. They take place four times per year, usually at the Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon. These events are a chance to come together, let off steam and express yourself through poetry, music, comedy or storytelling. We have some great performers in our community who always make us laugh and cry. New performers are always welcome. Please get in touch for the details of our next event.

Expressive Activities

We regularly run expressive activities at community venues. Past activities have included improvisation sessions, music production workshops and bodywork classes. We are always keen to hear new ideas and welcome contact from creative people who can introduce us to new experiences. To find out about upcoming activities or share your ideas, please get in touch.

Exploratory Projects

Our mission is to ensure that individuals going through mental health challenges have a range of options open to them, both when things are steady and when things are unravelling.

Through our exploratory projects, we are learning more about what is needed during the most difficult times, and envisioning what compassionate, community-based responses to such situations could and should look like. To find out more about how we're doing this, please get in touch.
